Residence Inn by Marriott Pittsburgh Monroeville/Wilkins

The lobby was clean and the breakfast was good. The staffs were helpful. However, the room was not so good. Dishwasher was full of dirty plates. Toilet was dirty. No big towels in the room. The bed was too soft.

Property is not well kept. Very old and outdated. Needs some serious renovation. Stains all over the floor and sofa. Bed was very uncomfortable and broken in. It was like there is a dent in the middle. Doors did not lock properly , so anyone could walk in. Our door was jamming all the time to just get into the room. Wifi was not working well. Overall disappointed especially considering the price we paid

The bed was a little soft, but the room was clean, and the breakfast was very good.

Great place to rest and refresh

The constant slamming of doors was above any other hotel I've stayed at. The hotel is in need of updated furniture. We found crushed potato chips under the footstool when we moved it. There is no way this hotel should be a 9 out of 10. I highly recommend reading all the negative reviews before booking here. I only booked based upon the 9 rating and read the rest of the reviews after getting there and seeing the room's condition. The front desk staff was nice though. And so was the staff serving breakfast.

I liked everything. The only wrinkle was that I had no shower curtain. So I took a bath.

The room looked nice but entering the room it smell like cigarettes. We chose the non-smoking room and the smell was overpowering

Feels like an apartment not like a Motel 6. Planning on staying there every time we go to Pittsburgh.

The room was filthy. I took pictures and can share them with you. The bed skirt and floor had dust, dirty spots, etc. I slept at the desk in a chair. I would have left, but I checked in around midnight. The system will not allow me to upload any of my photos.

Looks shabby because paint touch ups have been done in the wrong color and it looks dirty. Bed was comfortable.
