Kunuku Resort All Inclusive Curacao, Trademark by Wyndham

Pros: Is all inclusive and that’s it and you can save a lot of money. Cons: The food is limited you don’t have too much options, the personal service is poor and unfriendly. The rooms is okay but smell rare and the water of the bathroom. For adults doesn’t have entertainment and the only entertainment they have? Is a live music and close at 22:00. The internet doesn’t work properly.

Overall this resort nice. I agreed with the star rating it has. The food at the buffet had a good variety. Staff were polite. Loved the spacious apartment for our family and how quiet the resort felt- it was full but didnt feel crowded. There were areas for improvement. The pool closure times were varied so the waterslides were shut off early when our kids still wanted to enjoy them and others were never open despite us asking for the operating time which disappointed them. The frozen drink mixes were not ready until dinner some days and when you want a cool drink on a hot day, this can negatively impact your experience. There was an issue with ants in the rooms which was not a huge issue except for the one time they were all over our freshly changed towels, which made us not want to use them. There entertainment was geared to a quieter crowd ranging from BINGO to karaoke. Though this can be nice for some it was not as enjoyable for children and young adults who would like a more. Finally there was not a lot in regards to dining. The two booked dinners were for sushi and bbq. We only experienced the bbq, but found it quite disappointing as we were expected to cook our own food- not what we expected for an all-inclusive. Overall this was a good resort and we would return but if we did we would have more clarity on expectations.

Great and Friendly Staff

The food options were very limited...either the buffet (all meals) or the snack shacks/pizza for limited hours. This is a resort for kids/families & they take over. Since the resort sells day passes & don't even think about trying to get to the bar or snack shack during the day pass hours (which I think are 9-5). The pools are also super crowded during the day pay hours. Once the day pass crowd clears out...ahhh...relaxation! But the pools are only open until 7pm, which means that's it's only available to those staying at the resort for 2 hours. There is no reason the pools couldn't be open after 7 since most would love to sit out/swim after dinner hours (until 9 /10). The snack shacks & pizza were chaotic to say the least. There is no clear line or queue. Someone could be standing 3 deep on one side & others just come up on the other sides & get served first. They need to fix this as it was very frustrating. The staff was less than friendly, enthusiastic, etc. Didn't feel like we were catered to, but more of a nuisance when requesting drinks, food, etc. The room we had was a basic king/2 twin beds. The doors slammed at all hours of the night as there is nothing stopping this. We even tried to close the doors quietly, but it's almost impossible. They need to have a silencer to prevent this as it was very frustrating late/early. Lacked maintenance...towel bars/lights falling off. Much more, but limited on my characters. Would not stay here again.
