Dar Silsila

On the site and with the photos it looked quite wonderful but after a week of staying on first or second floors if Riads I would have appreciated a room on the ground floor. It was also unexpected to have to cross a 20m tunnel with absolutly no light during daylight in absolute darkness. I wasn't happy about it.however the lady at the kitchen and the majority of the personnel were very helpful and accommodating.

Stayed 2 nights in May 24. Excellent place. Initially quite challenging to find. Friendly manager. Nice breakfast. Clean rooms. Good shower. Was on the 2nd floor up a couple of flights of stairs. Sun loungers on my level outside the room to relax on if required. Fantastic rooftop area (for relaxing/breakfast). Spent time up here each morning (and evening) . A beautiful tranquil area after the hustle and bustle of down below on the city streets.

Wow! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Riad Dar Silsila! The decor is beautiful and comfortable, the breakfasts are delicious, and Abdul is extra special and the staff are eager to please. The Riad is well located in terms of its proximity to Djemaa El Fna. Highly recommended!

This Dar is a place I can wholly recommend. Ali, the manager, did so much for us, way above and beyond what a tourist can expect. We had already checked out, and we left our luggage at the reception. We left for the souk when I suddenly had a medical emergency. I had to return and take a shower. When I returned, I was given acess to a room and clean towels without any extra charge - just a smile of understanding.

We were able to book transfers to pick us up from the airport. Ibrahim came to greet us from the taxi which was a 2 minute walk away from the Riad and took our bags. He guided us through all the hustle and bustle of the busy street, down alleyways (which was a bit daunting) to arrive at this beautiful large door. On entering we just went wow. It was so peaceful and quiet compared with the noise outside. We received tea and biscuits on arrival and Ibrahim was very informative of local attractions and places to go. We stayed for 3 nights and the breakfast each morning was something a little different and fresh. We especially loved the roof terrace to relax too. Overall our stay was fabulous with excellent hospitality, the Riad and rooms were very clean and comfortable, I would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Everything was good breakfast was good and plenty of food.The staff was very helpful and Mr Hannas went far above the norm to make are stay great .I would stay here again.
