The Lakes Boutique Lodge

A big shout-out to Persie, Natasha Rudsie, and Susan – they always make us feel so welcome and go out of their way to accommodate all our needs. Even when we brought our parents for a few nights, they kindly upgraded their rooms, which meant a lot to us. I really enjoy staying here in the heart of Silver Lakes, where the service and food are excellent. Above all, I truly appreciate the tranquility – a perfect escape from the busyness of the city.

The setting was great, and the staff was fabulous and very helpful.

Some areas need maintenance. The cupboard door in my room was broken. Difficult to get into shower due to placement of towel rack (which assumingely has become loose due to constant banging of shower door). Also the tap in the shower was loose and fell off when used.

I’ve always loved the place. I think it has beautiful features and aesthetics. In a very good neighbourhood.

I absolutely loved the place — it was beautiful and comfortable, and we were really looking forward to our stay. But sadly, not being warned about the water outage completely ruined the experience. We couldn’t even shower before leaving, which was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. At the very least, we should have been given a heads-up beforehand. A little warning or even some grace afterward would have made all the difference. It’s unfortunate that something so basic turned what could’ve been a perfect stay into a stressful one.

It was perfect there was nothing I didn’t like
