"Worth seeking out"

I booked having read the reviews which seem uniformly excellent and that proved to be the case. In particular Signora Lia proved to be every bit as charming and helpful as reported and in our case went the extra mile -literally! Everything was very clean and having a small kitchen stocked with tea, coffee, milk and water was so welcome. Also the rooms were quiet and cool yet only yards from the main street. I would reccommend Le Cassette di Lù to anyone and it is worth the effort to get there: it is not as difficult to find as we made it! Also Agrigento is worth the visit despite what the guide books might say. They are lovely people in Agrigento.
