ALK HOTEL™

We booked for 3 nights at the start of our island hopping vacation, we loved it so much that we stayed for our entire vacation on Sifnos. The hotel is very well run, friendly, accommodating and spotlessly clean. We used Kamares as a base to tour the island as you are no more than 10kms from anywhere. We welcomed the restaurant recommendations and taxi tips. We look forward to our next trip to Sifnos.

We were treated like family at this immaculate hotel. The rooms are small but cozy! The owner and his staff were very kind and helpful. The panoramic view from the hotel patio was fantastic as it is part way up the hill. Easy walk to island bus, stores, and restaurants. Bus gets you to any part of the beautiful island within 10-20 minutes. The village pride is everywhere and within our 5 short days there, people were waving to us and spoiling us with free Greek desserts or extra drinks. We were sad to go and eager to return!

I had a confirmation from Hotels.com, but when I arrived iin the afternoon, there were no rooms......the owner, I cannot recall his name, apologized, and had booked me a room next door which was fine................the hotel is far from the ferry dock..................but all went well for one night.................jp

This is a great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Free shuttle from the port was appreciated too. Even though it's only round the bay, it's just a nice way to get settled immediately. We were given an upgrade to a lovely room. It had everything you could ask for and all of the small touches make your stay. Breakfast was good. ALK are definitely making the most of what they have. We really do hope we can visit Sifnos again and ALK is the place we will stay.

One of the best places I ever stayed at. The location, extreme friendliness of the personnel, the views, and the quietness of this place are top notch. It was one of my best experiences in the Greek islands. Too bad we stayed only one night. This is a place to remember.

Excellent stay and made very welcome by Alexander and staff we were given an upgrade to a kitchen unit with balcony overlooking the sea-Alexander wanted to keep a smile on our faces!! we had a very nice driver, Panagiotis, who picked us up at the port and took us back when we were leaving. he was also available anytime we wanted a ride to the port which is only a 10 min walk from the hotel. the breakfast was very good too-different kinds of cooked eggs every morning. breakfast room and rooftop bar had very nice views of the harbour with the ships coming and going. if we ever go back to Sifnos we know where we are going to stay! thanks again to all the staff for making our time on Sifnos so enjoyable!

All staff were very helpful, advice for where to go on island ,free collection from port. Nothing to much trouble.

We had a delightful stay.Our room was comfortable,clean and well-appointed,and the view from our balcony was stunning.The hotel is in a perfect location,being situated on a hill just above the port,giving it a quiet and secluded feel whilst being within easy reach of Kamares. The staff were warm and friendly,and the breakfasts were extremely generous-so much so that we didn't feel the need again until the evening.All in all,a terrific little hotel.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the hotel had a lovely view of the harbor. I would definitely stay there again!
