Beechworth Carriage Motor Inn

There were two nice parts. One was that we were greeted by a nice man at reception. Two that the place was in walking distance to the town centre. It made it handy when we had to scramble to the Empire Hotel to get dinner or else we would have waited until 8pm. It took us 2 minutes by car.

Well the bed was very soft. It would be nice to have a box of tissues in the room. To pay $187, you expected to get a bit more. Also, the vanity unit in the bathroom is very close to the shower. The bathroom is a bit small.

Location

Perfect location, walking distance into main street, cafes, pubs and tourist information. Quiet, comfortable bed, all crockery etc available. My room rather quirky in design but perfectly comfortable. Appreciated the lounge chairs as well as the dining chairs

That I had to run the sink hot water to get hot water in the shower. More concerned regarding wasting water than the weird process

Property was easily to find accessible plenty of parking, nice and quiet, close to centre of town walking distance.

Don’t know if the question is about the property or the rooms tricky question. But it was built in the seventies.
