Rainbow Getaway Holiday Apartments

Rainbow Getaway had everything we needed for a very comfortable short stay. The staff were extremely helpful when we had to change our dates at the last minute. The unit was spacious and had a comfortable lounge area. It was fantastic having the kitchenette, the laundry and two bathrooms. It is situated only two blocks from the main part of RainbowBeach and a short walk up the hill to the Carlo Sand Blow.

I believe some of the units have been renovated. Ours was not. It was a bit tired and dated and the carpet was well worn. Unfortunately, our smoke detector went off in the middle of the night and it was not possible to get anyone to help us with the problem. We had to stand on the chair at the top of the stairs to get the unit off the ceiling and remove the battery. Perhaps this wouldn’t happen if the batteries were changed every year.

the fact that if reception is not open, they leave a number for checkin and no one answers or returns calls. Message says we will call you during business hours which was monday and we arrived on saturday

The room was clean compact and comfortable. It was nice to sit on the verandah with a cuppa. The pool area was very inviting and the pool was even heated. It had a central location and it was an easy walk to access restaurants and bars. An enjoyable place to stay

Location was great within walking distance to town and the beach. Apartment was nice and clean.

Advised to park in visitors parking but there were no signs. Had to ask for a bathmat and hand towel. Door lock was tricky to use. Price was expensive for being non-serviced.
