The location Food at restaurant was good and service friendly.

Room was smaller than adjacent rooms but the same price was charged. This anomaly was raised with staff and while assured that it would be taken up with the manager, we received no contact from the manager.. The mattress was very uncomfortable. Staff on arrival lacked warmth, were unwelcoming and gave directions for parking brusquely. The room had a piece of broken glass on the carpet floor on which my wife cut her foot. Staff were informed but we received no reaction until checking out two days later when a comp breakfast was offered, which was nice but could have been more timely. The room was otherwise clean.

Location, location, location! Historic waterfront hotel in idyllic location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Waterfront room for my parents was excellently appointed.

Small double room for me was above the kitchen with the rumble of an extractor until about 9.30pm. To avoid this ask for a room on the front or back of the hotel.

We had a room on the waterfront with a large deck and it was lovely to sit there and look over the bay. Dinner at the restaurant was fabulous. Staff at the hotel and the restaurant were helpful and friendly. A special place to stay!
