If you enjoy being comfortable or are travelling with children avoid at all costs. The beds are that bad that we all, including the kids woke up with sore backs. The floor would have been more comfortable.

Great location. Comfortable apartment with enough space for kids. Pool and spa were great. Servicing and replacement of soaps, shampoo and coffee was intermittent though - this only happened once in our 8 day stay. I’d consider going back, but would ask about how frequently the room is supposed to be serviced.

Whilst feeling a little dated in terms of style and without double glazing, I otherwise enjoyed my stay at republic apartments. My 7th floor apartment had all the amenities I need to sleep, wash, cook, and entertain myself. Very little noise from anyone else in apartments around me bar one Friday night, and after their warm up they headed out at 10pm and I didn't hear any more. The chap on reception was helpful and welcoming. With Woolworths literally attached the building all you need for supplies is in very short walking distance for you to buy and then cook up in the apartment. If I get to return to Brisbane I'd like to try other places, but I would happily return here if needed and would recommend as a basic but functional apartment to stay in for any period of time. Some complaints from other reviewers about the Wifi having too much of a limit or not working, bar two evenings when it was saturated and unusable due to too much traffic going throuhg it, I was fine. Staying for 2 weeks, Republic also gave me a 15 day unlimited data pass for wifi.
