Our room was super clean. This hotel also has a great location, and the owners are so accommodating. It's sort of like staying with family. Upon arriving, the owner, Jane, gave us 2 homemade brownies. We got there late afternoon and were exhausted from our drive and hungry. We asked for a recommendation for dinner. She recommended a nearby restaurant and was able to get us reservations immediately. The restaurant was great (the Larder Kitchen) and was within walking distance. While walking home we got turned around and couldn't find the hotel. That's when I noticed Jane across the street walking her dog, Bruce. We told her we had gotten turned around and she led us back to the hotel showing us a shortcut through an alley. Overall it was a lovely stay. Highly recommend, and if I ever find myself in Victor Harbor again, I will be sure to stay here.
