"We had a good stay at Sunshine Beach Resort. Nice location, nothing fancy but does the job."

Location was good, on the quieter side of the Gold Coast as opposed to surfers paradise for example. I also liked the heated pool! There was lots of parking available too.

The spa/jacuzzi was cold. Maybe there could’ve been more little tubs of milk in the fridge as well. But nothing was disappointing really.

The aircon was good and cold and the beds were comfortable

The bathrooms are in need of renovations & old air-conditioning units are just covered up with curtains. Just needs a bit of an update.

The light rail works is a disadvantage for this property as the walk to get to the beach is longer atm

Clean and spacious rooms with comfortable beds. The pool was great for those hot summer days. We definitely took advantage. It's perfect if you're on the ground floor for easy access. Underground parking was great, we found a park metres from our room.

The drainage in the bathroom sink was slow so if we had the water on, it would have to be on low flow, otherwise as we learnt quickly it would fill up the sink. Not sure if it was a blockage or not. We didn't get to tell management as we were only there for one night.

Clean, comfortable and conviently located to grocery, basic shopping, restaurants and beach. Staff was accommodating and friendly. placing me in the type of room I requested.

Door lock was hard to open. Small towels (washcloths) and blackout shades would have been nice additions.
