Natai Beach Resort

This is a lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff, the food was very good (albeit overpriced for Thailand but it is a hotel and not much in terms of menu choices), the pool is large and well maintained and the fact the hotel is directly on the beach is definitely and upside. Now the downsides: to be honest there was only two issues i had. 1) after paying what I thought was a premium price for a beach bungalow I would expect such but the reality was although directly on the beach was very old and tired, outside and in they look and feel like they've fallen into disrepair and have been forgotten about for some time. 2) the location, it is perfect if you only stay on site (especially the sunsets) but if you want to go anywhere then its a taxi ride as its in the middle of nowhere, it would have been nice for a shuttle bus into Phuket and back that runs all day. overall would I stay here again, the answer is yes but only if I wasn't planning on leaving the site, I also wouldn't book the beach bungalow again. In my personal opinion I also wouldn't put this hotel at 5 stars (it doesn't come close to criteria for that), I would put it at a high end 3 star or at a very push a 4.

A little bit tired in parts in the rooms . Very limited food options only 1 hotel restaurant same menu for lunch and evening meal . No shops nearby or eateries other than one on the beach . No hotel bar other than swim up bar . Very isolated location

War alles gut

Loved this hotel. We only stayed for 2 nights as a stop gap after flying into phuket before traveling elsewhere. But it was great! Quite, luxury, right on the beach with sun loungers nestles under beautiful palm trees in between the lovely pool and the beach. Restaurant food is yummy. Staff super friendly. Entertainment in the restaurant was great and its also right on the beach. We had the garden terrace room which was fantastic. Overlooking the pool and the beach. Just beautiful. My kids loves the pool - in and out of it all day long! The town is a 5 minute drive so you would need to get a taxi if you want to venture out ad there isnt anything nearby. But for a couple of nights it had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

Beautiful beachfront location, everything looked lovely, fantastic staff, remote so beach was quiet

Free shuttles to local supermarket provided by resort only run three days a week so if you don’t have a car you are stuck or have to pay for a taxi to get supplies. Shuttle should be daily. Uncomfortable bed and sheets with rips and holes, very noisy aircon with accompanying constant damp smell, room full of mosquitoes on check in, murky private pool. Bathroom and shower in particular needed an extremely good scrub and everything is just a bit tired and grubby
