La Boheme Bed and Breakfast

Was all a little bit odd. From the owners introduction, to being offered breakfast (were we or weren't we?), the cat roaming around our room. Saying that the room was nice and spacious, but not the jacuzzi room we had booked. For this there is an extra charge and it wasn't filled up. Personally i think if you charge people a premium for the use of something special within the room this would be included in the price and it would be ready for your arrival. This wasnt a big deal for us but an annoyance all the same. All in all probably the worst value for money we have had in south africa,

The B&B was very clean, comfortable and had lots of space. My wife and I were on our honeymoon driving the Garden Route and booked a room here as a one night stop. I booked the "Jacuzzi Room" that was described as having a large outdoor hot tub for use by the room occupants, which I though was a perfect way to relax after a long drive before continuing to Cape Town the following day. But, I was told on arrival (around 5pm) that as I had not prebooked it (and paid a another fee) the jacuzzi was not available, and as it takes 10 hours to heat up I would not have a chance to use it at all. Having specifically booked that room I was not impressed that no where does it state this, and the owner did not attempt to contact me before hand to find out if I wanted to use it. It appeared that we were the only guests that night in the entire complex so it would not have been too difficult to email us.

Well appointed rooms. Had a very spacious room and super comfy bed.. Nice hosts. Standard breakfast. One con is that parking is available on a limited basis and even that which is available is a bit odd given the shape of the parking area. WiFi did not pick up well on the second floor.

Everything very nice. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The first room we were given did not have a separate bathroom - just a loo, shower and basin at the end of the bedroom! The hosts never made an appearance, not even for breakfast. And on the final day I went to find the hosts to pay the bill and she said "who are you" - didn't even know I was a guest. All rather strange and not recommended.

Owner was very accommodating and amde for a very pleasant stay.

Nice B+B, comfortable room and very clean. Odd to have an audience using the loo (open plan bedroom and bathroom). Breakfast was great. Rules a bit prescriptive, but at least you know where you stand

A very committed host meet us when we arrived to the B&B. We got a short tour on a map everything there were to see in and around Plet. Excellent, they we could decide depending on our interest. The room was nice and hole stay was good.
