Photos and reviews looked good

Room was very basic. Really Shabby bath & room outlook (concrete wall and extractor pipe). Better rooms were empty and most hotels have a policy of upgrading to a better room when available. We paid the same price the following night for a whole apartment with antique furniture and sumptuous breakfast in Italy!

"Superb"

We rented a family room in this hotel which is run by friendly and welcoming staff. Interesting (retro) design features. The hotel is in a village with a beautiful river but has direct access to the motorway in case you need a stopover. Beautiful landscape and surrounds.
