"Spectacular setting and wonderful staff."

An extraordinary hotel perched on the scenic sea cliffs near Santana. Staff is exceptionally friendly and informative. Ask about the walk to Sao Jorge- directly from the hotel along the cliffs, then down and up again. Equally beautiful to the many fine paid PR tracks. Also make sure to participate in all of the hotels many free activities like wine tasting, baking, cooking, rum tasting etc. Restaurant and pizzeria were very good, which is nice because Santana is not a convenient walking distance. This was our favorite hotel in our 2 week stay in Madeira.

Lage top, nicht zu überbieten. Zimmer sehr gut.

Restaurant okay , aber nach den vielen Lobeshymnen enttäuschend. Generell insbesondere auch beim Frühstück Gefühl der Massenabfertigung. Aufdringliches Werben um (gute) Bewertungen

Super friendly and helpful staff. Phenomenal location with fantastic view on the wild coast. Pictures you see on Booking match the reality. Bathroom was spacious and seemed newly renovated. Hotel was also very clean. Though this is a larger hotel with many guests and lots of changing

Can become quite loud from the hallway depending on the guests (had this 2 times only and only for a few minutes) and also busy in the morning at the breakfast buffet, though this is well managed by the staff who are continuously restocking and keeping everything in order.
