Walking distance to Taco Bell and other local delicacies. Excellent sunset from the sand dune. Fitting three beds into one room was rather excellent - plus a working shower made for a pleasant stay overall. Breakfast items provided

There was a unique odour in the lobby which was a hard sit, would benefit from air fresheners. One slightly alarming feature was what appeared to be bullet holes in the bathroom window.

The location, the price, the bed and pillows were comfortable The front desk lady/owner was nice

The towels were thin and crunchy. The coffee packages were completely stale, and there was no ice machine. It was broken.

This was a fantastic motel for the price. It was very clean and the bedroom/bathroom were both spacious. Breakfast was simple but still appreciated. The staff were all friendly. I stayed a total of 8 nights in Barstow and split my time between this motel and the Route 66 Motel. While the Route 66 Motel looks much cooler from the outside, the room at Budget Inn was far superior and significantly cheaper. I was very happy with my stay and would definitely choose this place again.

It seemed to be in a rougher part of town with a good bit of homeless and drug users surrounding the area. This isn’t the property’s fault though. I still felt safe and nothing happened to my classic sports car for 4 days parked there.

Het bed lag goed en was schoon. De kamer zelf was ook schoon. Douche werkte goed. Vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt was niet veel bijzonders maar we hadden toast met jam en een sapje dus wel oke.

Nacht niet geslapen door politieauto's. Er was iemand gewond en de buurt werd doorzocht en de straat afgezet. Lampen schenen naar binnen bij ons. En wat de kamer betreft roken de badhanddoeken niet lekker die stonken. En een extra slot zou fijn zijn want die ontbrak.
