Sienna Lodge

The lodge was in a great location, and the gardens were nice.

We were looking forward to our stay at Sienna Lodge, but it didn’t quite live up to expectations. The room felt a little outdated and not as cosy as we’d imagined. The decorative cushion on the bed had a noticeable makeup mark, the bed wasn’t very comfortable, and there was a faint dusty smell. The main issue was the noise - we could hear every movement from the guests upstairs. We understand it’s an older house, but being woken up at 6:00am the first morning and 4:45am the next by constant footsteps and creaking floors made it hard to get proper rest. We rarely leave negative reviews, but we were a bit disappointed and probably wouldn’t choose to stay again. Perhaps staying in a room that isn’t on the ground floor would make for a better experience, and maybe other rooms are a bit more comfortable.

The bed was very comfy, very cosy and clean and close to a lot of attractions.

Cute little cottage

Bit noisy from the unit upstairs, sounded like a herd of elephants one night, up and down the stairs.

It is a really nice place, I think the only thing that lets it down is that I would be great with a big fire pit and seats
