This private cottage is intimately designed for a couple, set within an expansive garden offering peace and quiet. The private covered deck offers a natural rural outlook and views of the gardens, as well as a gas barbecue. The cottage features a spa bath in which you can sit and look out the window at the views. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking including a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, electric frying pan and portable induction hotplate and kitchenware. It is also fully air-conditioned throughout for heating and cooling. Please note that the price is based on 2 guests in a King Bed. There is no capacity for additional guests. This Cottage is not suitable for people with mobility issues - we suggest Amble Fern Spa Apartment.

It was a really pleasant stay. Huge comfortable king bed, soft towels, hot shower. Walking distance to Hahndorf village, no need for driving. Everything was thought of, from ice blocks in the freezer to make up remover, shave cream, a fully equiped kitchenette. Books to read, folders with information about all local attractions so you don’t have to spend time looking at the internet. We enjoyed our 2 night stay immensely. Thank you Vanessa for making our stay memorable

Vanessa really thinks carefully about what her guests might need and provides that. The gardens are beautiful. The cottage was very clean. I found the bed to be very comfortable. The location is excellent as it's very close to the main street.

My partner struggled to sleep because he found the bed to be too firm. We do understand that it would be difficult to cater for all needs though.

Vanessa was a fantastic host who was very welcoming and took the time to show me how every worked in the apartment and shared her knowledge about the local area. The place was welcoming and so comfortable with a lovely outlook into a garden with lots of birds and wildlife. The location is great being just off the main road in Hahndorf so very quiet and ample off road parking. My only regret was not staying longer.
