This motel was in stages of being renovated, but was still open for business and definitely not safe for two female travellers. There were no bolts on the door and the outside door was just a handle lock that could be easily be broken into. The bedding and bed were clean and the bathroom was very clean, but the mirror had glue all over it. The room smelled like cigarette smoke because people stood outside and left ashtrays on the air conditioner. The lamp was broken and lampshade was crushed. My mom and I had just been travelling for 12 hours and evacuated and found a different hotel which we felt safe at. unfortunately had to pay more money and I’m still waiting to find out if I will be refunded for the property we couldn’t get away from fast enough.

our experience was good/ our room was clean and perfect for us. the staff were all very friendly and helpful. no restaurant but quite a few not far, would stay there again if we went back to Sudbury.

IT would be great to have some options for a breakfast. other then that all good.

It was fairly easy to check in. The staff was friendly and helpful, though hidden in the back most of the time.

Security to individual rooms could have been much better. - The front door had the normal card swipe lock on the handle and a small chain lock, but had a nearly 1" gap between the door and the floor. The rear door had only a lock on the knob. The flip lock that was there had nothing to lock to as it was snapped off on the door's side. - The blinds didn't close fully, Leaving you feeling as if someone was watching you through the gap. The bathroom needs fixing - The toilet was loose and rocking on the floor - The hot water at the tap somehow turned on both by moving forward and back with an off in the middle, rather than a 1 end on, other end off like the cold side had.
