Fine hotel in the small town Katakolo. Nicely decorated and equipped. The breakfast was also very good. Not too much choice, but it's the quality that matters! The hostess (owner maybe?) was friendly, recommended a restaurant nearby, and confirmed that parking was allowed this day/night.

Too bad there were mosquitos in this town (luckily there was a repellent unit in the room). This was also the reason why a window shouldn't be opened during the night. In combination with the AC not available this led to a very uncomfortable room. Although it was said it could be turned on at my request, I didn't want to call at 3am for this, so opened a window and used repellent.

It’s hard to call this a hotel. It’s more like a lovely guest house; a place where you could easily escape to write a book, to think about things or just to relax. The two ladies who run the place were both fantastic and very caring people. If you are considering staying here, don’t hesitate, it is a great place to stay.
