Close to restaurants, transport. Train station approximately 200 metres away.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean well appointed rooms. Free off street parking, almost unheard of in Brisbane these days. Overall very good value for the price.

The disability access bathroom was adequate but could be improved with some additional hand rails and a non slip coating on the floor.

I like the ease of convenience and parking. The room i had was excellent.

Close to a variety of shops and restaurants. Very clean hotel. Friendly staff. The room was very clean and modern. Comfy beds. Quiet street with no outside noise coming in to our room. Easy parking and it was free. You can park undercover at the hotel or on the street. We highly recommend that you stay at Jephsons. We will be returning to stay again.

First impressions at reception were fantastic. This was our third stay at Jephson’s, and the reception staff on this visit were by far our favourite—very welcoming and genuinely happy, which created such positive energy. A special mention to the cleaning staff member who checked in on us on our second day, asking if we needed anything. Your timing was perfect—we had just run out of toilet paper and were about to grab a roll from our second room (310). Thank you so much for your help! We also loved the shampoo and conditioner—they left my hair feeling refreshed, light, and clean. It saved me time and money from having to go into the village to buy my own.

The cleaning staff interaction on our floor was disappointing. After the positive experience downstairs at reception, this felt like a contrast. When we arrived early and were finding our room, staff were cleaning nearby rooms. Instead of a friendly greeting or offering assistance, the tone felt abrupt—something along the lines of “Do you girls need something?” It came across as a bit unfriendly, especially as we were simply trying to locate our room. We apologise if our early arrival caused any inconvenience. As mentioned in the “What did you like?” section, although one staff member was very helpful, there were some concerns with housekeeping. Having only about 25% of a toilet roll for four people over two days was inadequate—restocking essentials is important. Additionally, we were surprised to learn that staff had already entered our second room (310), despite it not being in use at the time. While it was noted how tidy it was, this felt like an invasion of privacy. It was concerning to think someone could enter without knowing whether the room was occupied, and it left us feeling uneasy for the remainder of our stay. If this is standard practice, it may affect our decision to return. Lastly, there was significant noise coming from the level above us. It sounded like constant running, along with loud thumps, items being dropped, and possibly furniture being moved. This disturbed our sleep each morning and detracted from what would otherwise have been a pleasant stay.

We love the beds & good quality linen and big pillows, the bathroom design was really a big stand out & frosted glass that changes to give privacy, very clean.
