Hostellerie Le Baou

le Baou, is nestled in the most serene, charming and welcoming spots in the south of France. The place is in a town that is historic and very welcoming. The staff go out of their way to make you comfortable and happy. They are very proud of their little spot and will go the distance to show it to you suggesting places to go see, describing them for you etc... The place is very clean and relaxing. I will for sure return to it on my next visit and recommend it to anyone visiting this area.

This hotel is in the perfect location, close enough to St Tropez, but with the picturesque Ramatuelle on your doorstep. It has wonderful views of the mountain and sea. The staff at the hotel are so friendly and go the extra mile to make the stay all the more enjoyable. The rooms are a little tired, but the positives more than make up for it.

Staff generally helpful and friendly, but the hotel itself has seen better days. Breakfast offering was particularly disappointing, which included a daily ritual of swatting wasps hovering over the buffet table. Rooms were generally clean, but as with the rest of the hotel, everything seemed generally run-down.

Very helpful staff, clean rooms and lovely location. Pool is clean and the view from pool side is beautiful. The only thing to bear in mind is the price of taxis anywhere around St. Tropez. Try and get a bus where you can! I didnt eat in the hotel so cannot comment on food.

a good hotel, well located (2 minutes walk from village center) in a beautiful environment. only drawback, the rooms which look more like a 3 stars hotel than 4 stars.

we did expect more from a 350 E hotel its old the room are tiny very disappointing its not more then 2 star hotel

the hotel location was good - just outside the old town of ramatuelle. Nice pool area. It had great views over the valley and in its day it would have been a great hotel but that was at least 30 years ago! It needs a compete refurb. Old carpets, wi-fi and phones that rarely worked, and a restaurant on the top floor with paper thin floor so all the moving chairs can be heard in the rooms below at night. it was slo very expenstive for what you got.

Brilliant location, Ramatouelle village just stunning. Amazing views and short drive to the beach and into St tropez town. Swimming pool very nice.
