Hotel Horizont

Maten på hotellet var ikke god, og betjeningen var mindre hjelpsomme enn det vi opplevde som normalt i Kroatia. Men det er det eneste negative vi har å si. Hotellet ligger 2 minutters gåtur fra stranden, og på vei dit går man rett forbi hovedgaten hvor de fleste bodene og restaurantene er. Basca voda er en nydelig liten plass rett ved Makarska. Det er tydelig turistpreget, med muligheter for utflukter til de ulike øyene i nærheten, leie av vannscooter og mye annet. Ville bodd på Hotel Horizont igjen.

We absolutely loved this hotel and the location. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating.

Room was comfortable and spacious.The view from the balcony was gorgeous especially one evening when there was beautiful sunset.Another night there was a spectacular electric storm. Some do and don't notices in this hotel.Reminiscent of a 1950s UK seaside boarding house. Annoying not to be able to use the mini fridge for our own drinks as the ones in the fridge were rather expensive.Couldn't get chilled wines in the local supermarkets.Nice to have fresh towels every day even though we didn't ask for this.Lot of variety at breakfast but would put at average or below of the food we chose.Elegant,large dining room. Good to ask guests not to hang clothes on balcony as this does look rather unsightly.Reception staff polite and helpful.Deterred from using the pool as there was £20 approx charge if you lost the wristband needed to access the facility.Preferred to swim in the sea anyway.Overall a very good hotel in quiet location and would stay here again.
