Just stayed here for 4 nights, loved it. Professional, friendly people. Comfortable rooms and a charming garden/bar area. The hotel is within a few steps of other bars and restaurants in Patara, although it is difficult to drag yourself away from the farden bar. And he makes a great Margherita! We would go back.

We wanted a small friendly Hotel, with good service, a pool and decent rooms. We got a great hotel, spotlessly clean, lovely room with balcony overlooking the garden, ideal pool and poolside area, decent breakfast, friendly service always with a smile. I have no idea how many stars this hotel has officially but Arif and his team make it a 5 star experience. Thanks again guys.

We first stayed at a 4-night reservation at the Patara Caretta Hotel, but it was too primitive for our taste: no hot water in the shower (except in the middle of the day), no real enclosed shower stall, no reliable internet service, and no signage to get there from the main road. Google sent us off on an impossible route through the nearby hills because we missed the original route. We left there after one night and got a wonderful room at Dardanos Hotel instead for our 3 remaining nights in Gelemiş. Reliable internet service with up to 26.8 Mbps download speed, a lovely view of a rose garden, easy to find at 1.5 blocks off the main road, and never any lack of hot water. The breakfast was not just up to high Turkish standards — it was up to Western European standards. It included eggs however you want them made, fresh strawberries, bananas, peaches, cappuccino or espresso, orange or peach juice, yogurt, etc. This was the best breakfast we had in 2.5 months in Turkey — and that includes the 5-star Hilton Hotel in the Bomonti area of Istanbul! The only minor quibble I have is there’s no fridge in the room. There is plenty of space to put a small refrigerator in the corner of the room.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough if you are going to Patara. Arif runs the show and he and his family are the perfect hosts. No request is too much and he ensures you have a great relaxed time. The rooms are beautiful, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is fresh and eggs are made to order. The pool is stunning very peaceful with lots of sunshine all day long. I will 100% be back!

This was a return visit to this delightful small hotel. We visited 5 years ago and the only change was the addition of a swimming pool with a tucked away sun trap! The rooms, cleanliness, service and attention to detail are all outstanding. Patara is small and unspoilt with an incredible beach & Lyceum ruins very close. This is the perfect place to stay if you want to unwind, relax and avoid the crowds.

The hotel is run by Arif, assisted by his nephew. Arif arranged a taxi to collect us from Dalaman and was at the front door of the Dardanos to welcome us as we arrived. In fact, Arif seemed to be available whenever you needed to ask him a question or to take you in his car to Patara beach, about a mile away, or get you a drink at the bar. The hotel is right in the centre of the village, close to many restaurants, cafes and shops. The bus station and taxis are close by. Apart from Patara beach which is a magnificent sandy beach and great for swimming, the main nearby attraction is the ancient Lycian/Roman city of Patara on the way to the beach. The hotel has its own swimming pool and garden where you have a fantastic breakfast, including eggs cooked as you wish. But, most of all, what makes this hotel special is Arif himself. Oh, and the beds are comfortable.

A very very peaceful place to stay and to relax. Clean rooms and nice pool. Very friendly and helpful stuff. Arif, the hotel director makes sure that his guests feel very well, comfortable and receive the service they need. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful flora. We will come again!

I have been here two times with my boyfriend and I am already planning the next holiday. Arif and his staff are truly welcoming and makes you feel at home. They provide you with anything you need and great suggestions on what to see around Patara. In terms of quality/price is the best hotel we have ever been. The rooms are basic but very clean. Waking up and having a tasty and healthy breakfast in the garden was my favorite part of the day. Highly recommended for a couple who wants to relax, explore, eat great food and make new friends.

... which has really nice amneities - like a pool that is clean and fresh and in a shady corner; like a bar and a garden where you can sit in the shade and lounge around in pasha style seaters and it has good rooms, maybe a bed a bit small, but clean and good care re the rooms.
