Brit Hotel La Ferte Bernard

A standard breakfast, but everything clean and well stocked. Would have liked some marmalade rather just apricot jam.

It was fine. I have stayed at the hotel before.

Location good, staff very friendly. Restaurant food good, but the lack of any price lists for both the food and choice of wine seemed very lacking.

The room tired, they had tried to update parts but not to any standard very small and not to expectation, for the price. ie shower head not adjustable as broken, no where to put a cup/glass etc in room. Unable to have a window open it was a glass door with no security chain.

Service and location excellent. Good dining room and reception area. Rooms a bit tired, the whole building needs an uplift, bathroom refitted with showers rather than bath and shower over. No opening windows on ground floor, just doors which are not secure at night.

Bed wasn't very comfortable.

Friendly receptionist, had no problem speaking English to me, accommodating my need to leave the luggage at the hotel before check-in. Breakfast was ok.

The A/C was leaking, I was just told to put a towel under it.. The facility is old and in my opinion not worth the money. There is no elevator to the upper floor, you need to bring up your suitcases by stairs.

Evening meal in restaurant was very good and breakfast had good variety of choices.
