Location, safe friendly and room clean.

Thoughtless upgrading my room and putting me directly below a room being renovated. All day very noisy with drilling and banging. Room amenities not up to standard. No working refrigerator. Ate in the western restaurant and food not nice. Nothing western to eat there at all although ice cream was good.

The behaviour and nice cooperation of the reception and other staffs including welcome security point, taxi facilities, see off etc.

Cleanness, carpeting become old. And toiletries, especially towels not soft enough.

The location is excellent for all the touristy sites as well as some Turkish food about a 20-30 minute walk away. It's nice and quiet while so close to the busier parts of town, like Beijing Lu. Excellent front desk service. The room is clean and comfortable with good value for this price point. Good air conditioning, nice quick elevator. Cute water fountain with good fish koi.

The touch switches in the room for the air conditioning, lights, and curtains are all too bright, especially as the air condition light is blue. I had to cover up the lights with pillows and bathrobe. Some cigarette smell in the hallway.
