I had great stay worth every cent paid. There's an ambient aura about Selbourne that puts one's mind to rest.

Hi, The service was exceptional. All the staff were very polite and friendly. The rooms were very clean.

The shower needsa proper cleaning tiles dirty. Supper ordered a medium to rare rump received a well done steak which I returned and the next one arrived have frozen which I obviously also returned. When i wanted to settle my account they wanted to charge me again for accommodation despite fact that I paid upfront. This was not a good experience for a four star hotel.

Great Stay...Even for Business

Excellent quality service. I was very pleased with the personal attention & professionalism of the front office manager Bradley. I will certainly return. Also enjoyed the reasonable priced & well laid out golf course.

The staff were absolutely amazing. Everyone was extreemly professional, helpful and always smiling. Nothing was too much trouble. The location was great, the hotel nicely refurbished and the food was excellent. The Spa was also amazing with excellent therapists.

Our first impression of the hotel was rather dismal due to a mess up with our reservation. I can't really blame the hotel though, it seems like it was a problem due to the booking process with hotels.com. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful and make a concerted effort to ensure guests are comfortable. The rooms were spacious, with crisp linens and comfortable beds and pillows. My only gripe with the room was grittiness on the beautiful wooden floors and the always late housekeeping (our rooms were only serviced in the afternoon). Breakfast was average and nothing to write home about. The pub lunches at the club house are ridiculously cheap and very homely. We never had a chance to dine at the fine dining restaurant, but it looked good. If you play golf, their golf course is spectacular and definitely makes this trip worthwhile.

Great setting for golf. Good breakfast. Good restaurant. Lovely gardens.

We attended a wedding at Botha House and therefore did not have a meal at Seborne.
