L'emplacement est idéal pour apprécier et visiter la cité médiévale de Carcassonne. Le petit jardin privatif dont nous disposions est fort agréable et compense l'exiguïté de la chambre.

la décoration, très typée années 70 est dépassée et assez agressive. le rapport qualité prix du petit déjeuner est mauvais, ce n'est pas un buffet, mais un service en assiette au choix imposé. De plus, nous n'avons pas apprécié le fond sonore sans âme imposé dans la salle de petit déjeuner.

The pool area could do with a clean but I think they will probably do that before it gets busier, and no hot water in the morning for a shower.

The location is incredible, it is so easy to visit the medieval city and walk across the river. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room had everything you need and the bed was comfortable. The hotel had a lovely laid back feel with the hotel dog and cat wandering about. The bar had a fantastic view, served local wine and beer and was very reasonable compared to prices in the city. Breakfast was generous and tasty, we particularly liked the local apple juice. It was great to have a swim and read a book by the pool in the sun after a day exploring.

The room was quite small for two people with suitcases for more than a couple of nights. You can hear some noise from people closing doors to other rooms and from the occasional car driving on the road outside but it didn't affect our sleep.
