Comfortable and clean

Nice large rooms that overlook the mountains in the distance and provide a nice sunset. Comfortable large beds. Located opposite shopping centre. Blockout curtains, Large bath towels. Study desk, fridge, basic tea and coffee making facilities

No Balcony. Mould on then bathroom ceiling tiles and mould the ceiling tiles outside the bathroom door. The mould was so bad it would cause long term respiratory problems (especially children) idk you were exposed to the mould for long periods. There was that much mould that the room wold be classified as uninhabitable in Australia. I change rooms only to get a room with less mould and a shower that did not drain and left you standing ankle deep in water before your shower had been completed. The hotel advertised a restaurant was on the premises and as such I thought I would be getting a buffet Breakfast every morning. There was no restaurant attached to the hotel. The restaurant was obviously closed for some time as its entry boarded over. It was disappointing thatover the 9 days my breakfast did not have any variation and consisted of a savoury bread roll, a boiled eggs, a muffin, a apple or banana, no salt and peeper was ever provided. There were also no cold drinks or fresh tea and coffee served with breakfast. The fridge freezer need defrosting when I arrived as you could not close the fridge door properly. I request this to be attended to and nothing eventuated so I ended up defrosting myself and tidying up the mess.

Hotel was clean and room was spacious.staff were friendly and helpful.Location is good for my activities and convenient for shops.

The gymnasium needs maintenance to the equipment.

The price was outstanding. 53 Canadian dollars per night for a large one bedroom apartment cannot be beat anywhere in the world. It also helps that it was in walking distance of the office where I was working. I've stayed here twice for 3 weeks at a time in the past few years, and if I have to go back to Muscat for a long stay again, I will definitely stay here.

Although housekeeping did a great job cleaning, their resupply of items like instant coffee packets was erratic.
