Hotel-Restaurant Central am Königshof

Location is very good. It was clean. One of the staff members at the reception was very kind and helpful.

One of the staff members was absolutely rude on the phone. I had called earlier to say I will be checking in late and the person we talked to forgot to leave my room key in the box. When I didn't find the key, I called the number given in case of emergencies. The person who answered was extremely rude, shouted at me on the phone and told me to get somewhere else to stay. This was 1:30 a.m. when she called her colleague to verify what I told her, she realised that we told the truth and her colleague just forgot to leave the key, in which case she apologized. However, it was such a horrible feeling. Her colleague at the reception desk apologized on her behalf the next morning and even offered free breakfast but I just wanted to get away. I think next time, would be better to first verify the information given by the guest before shouting at them. We are all human and make mistakes, it takes a minute to breathe and be mindful of how our reactions affect others.

A very comfortable hotel with friendly staff. A good location for travelling through Germany. We had a good meal in the restaurant in the evening with good local wine. Wifi was free.

Our room was located on front of door from kitchen. We were irritated all evening with sounds of plates bottels ect. Also the door from that kitchen was opened. Frustrated I have closed it , unfortunately the door was opened again by kitchen staff. Also the foot steps irritated us. The corridor flow was made with wood panels instead of nice carpets… I went also to the reception to make my comments on above mentioned problems unfortunately did not help us at all. We escaped the hotel during the night time.

Not a 4 star hotel!!! Maybe 2. The lady on the the reception very unfriendly, she said she cannot give me a receipt but she will send by email "shortly". Never arrived. The bad was very old and uncomfortable.

Very friendly staff, they where already closing but we where allowed to still drink something. The breakfeast was very tastefull and complete. The rooms felt like home. There was enough parking space around the hotel and the nabourhood felt safe.

Staff was attentive, but not friendly

The room was dirty and smelly, pipes in the bathroom were broken. There was so much hair and fur in the beds, sheets and pillows. This is totally unacceptable. One curious thing was that nobody asked for feedback. I guess they know better not to ask.
