Owner was very helpful. Pool was great. Room was clean. You could even drink your own drinks there. Parking right outside. Lovely place.

I went for one night, stayed over a week and returned again at the end of my three week holiday. As an independent female traveller I had found the hotel on the internet. I was made to feel comfortable and safe, with a nice clean room, air con, tv and very helpful staff and management. I was inspired to write the following poem as a thank you after about three nights stay. At the Bircan Hotel I laid my tired head For weary I came from London town No energy had I for sun, sand and sea No beach or marina could tempt me Instead I strolled a few yards the next day In search of replenishment The palm trees with leaves stirring Gently in the breeze seemed to welcome me Returning I strolled along the avenue Lined with eucalyptus trees And bougainvillea in many shades of pink, Like a young girl's blush, Decorating hotel walls and private residences indiscriminately And greeting me each morning From my bedroom balcony The poolside beckoned me with more bougainvillea So quintessentially Mediterranean, like the scent of jasmine Or the pine trees tall and proud That blessed the poolside With shade I had dreamed of the Med And sang its praises Like a schoolgirl lending her voice To her first choir Awaking I found its charms more intising As only a waking dream could be And all this under a sky Devoid of a cloud Like a pale blue sheet Stretched out to infinity

The staff were very helpful and responsive. The room was quiet, good aircon but pretty awful bathrooms. And I didn't feel comfortable with the cleanliness of the place. The location is good and pool is nice enough but the place needs updating and I would have paid more to stay elsewhere. I feel bad because the owners were very willing to please and welcoming.

I've stayed in this hotel on 7th of may 2014 for 3 nights . Location was beautiful , close to Bodrum Marina (5 mins walk ) then all those lovely restaurants . Hotel personal was very helpful and friendly . It's a budget hotel that's why don't expect the 5 star luxury . Breakfast is basic but if you want to have something you like to have at breakfast , you can keep it the breakfast room fridge . If you have a small budget for accommodation I would highly recommend this hotel .

We arrived at the hotel at the end of winter so we still had reasonable rates for what I thought was going to be a tidy place to stay. The three great things were the staff, clean sheets and internet. The bed however was about to fall apart every time I moved and the bathroom well--we skipped on the shower since it looked as though it hadn't been touched with a scrub brush for a while. I thought it would be quiet but I blame that on the people staying that night. After notifying the staff about the noise they quickly remedied the problem - again great staff!.. The owner just needs to spend some money on the place to do some renovations and I believe it would have been a better stay. Close walk to town and a market only 50 meters away. Also the pool was fully of dirty water but that is the way they keep pools in turkey since they don't have drains they have to pump them out every time it rains so they don't bother.

I stayed here as a Guest so i suppose i cannot be too hard. This is a small hotel which is situated some 10/15 minute walk down quiet back streets to the Marina. The exterior of the hotel is somewhat tired looking and could do with a little TLC but it is fine overall. The Staff are friendly and it appeared that guests were generally left to their own devices..i.e. if they wanted water..they got it themselves from the fridge etc... Certainly a more relaxed atmosphere because of it and i felt that the guests there were long term or return guests who knew the run of the place. The Accomodation i felt was quite basic, clean and small...at least the room i shared was. Maybe other rooms are bigger I do not know. but i felt they were a tight squeeze for 2 persons. The hotel is in a quiet area and was quiet at night too. They have a pool there which was clean and the area was big enough. Overall i enjoyed my short stay.

we went around with car asking for hotel prices, this was the cheapest (80tl) at the end of tourist season and has a cozy pool and is in a pretty good location - any closer to marina and it's 100 liras more. the room was sooo small we could barely move around the bed, and the bathroom was poor but in turkey I have seen worse also, I didn't expect anything else though. the staff was very friendly!! I don't like walking but it IS walking distance frI'm marina.

We have chosen this hotel for its location. It is very close to marina and Bodrum centre. People are really nice and helpful. Rooms are basic, I found the bathroom a bit unclean but the bed sheets were clean. Our room was small, so was the bed. The breakfast was simple, with black olives, tomato, cucumber, feta cheese, boiled egg, butter, jam and honey. It can be a good choise for visiting Bodrum city center with spending less on the hotel.

Walking distance to see all at Bodrum Marina including Castle / Museum, restaurants and cafe's. Small comfortable room, pool and very nice helpful owner and staff. Recommend, reasonable nightly rate too!
