Alles war bestens! Beim Check-In hatte ich zunächst Bedenken wegen der Lautstärke des naheliegenden Ems-Wehrs. Der Mitarbeiter am Check-In war sehr, sehr freundlich und geduldig und hat uns - neben einem Upgrade - zwei Zimmer zur Alternative angeboten. Das Zimmer war sehr schön, geräumig und zweckmäßig eingerichtet - und außerdem sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war außergewöhnlich gut und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Tagsüber konnte die Terrasse (zur Schleuse gelegen) genutzt werden. Kaffee, Tee, Gebäck und Wasser gab es kostenlos - perfekt für entspannte Stunden in der Sonne. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Einziges klitzekleines Manko, aufgefallen bei warmem sommerlichen Wetter: ein Kühlschrank zum Kühlen von Getränken wäre super, entweder auf dem Zimmer oder auch zentral für Gäste. Es wurde sehr warm im Zimmer. Bei einem Hotel in dieser Preisklasse wäre eine Klimaanlage optimal (was baulich aber vermutlich nicht so einfach ist).
