Galaxy Mackay Motor Inn

Big fridge with good size kitchenette.

Beds were comfortable except for one.

It’s my go to place in Mackay to stay. Beds were sooooooo comfortable.

Check in. No greeting, no smile. Then get a call 1-2minute later to ask if I paid and I said yes, you asked me that when I checked in. She then says I can see it’s been paid but there is no card on the file. I said I wouldn’t have a clue why that is but that I definitely paid and it’s come out of my account. So she says I will ring bookings.com to find out what’s happened and when I get back to the hotel to check on my end again. I have been to this hotel so many times and so many family members go there because I suggest it for the location. Comfortable beds and good size family rooms.

Interior of the rooms seemed modern. Towels were grey, linen was coloured as well. Nice change from the sterile white linen. Walls were nicely painted, room for family of 5 was a great size, very spacious, great kitchenette and pool with a slide.

The shower and toilet were a bit small, the vanity area with storage cupoboard was bigger.

Ein klassisches Motel, verkehrsgünstig gelegen, Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür, sogar ein Pool ist vorhanden. Check-In und Out sehr unkompliziert, Zimmer völlig o.k. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist gut.
