Andromeda Suites

Very central. Beautiful rooms with high ceilings. Owners were very accommodating but breakfast in the small lobby at one of two tables was a bit awkward since owners had no choice but to hover nearby. Still, I'd recommend the place to anyone. No parking except in port, but drive to easy luggage drop off 10 feet away.

Our trip to Andromeda Pension was like staying in the most comfortable home of an old friend! EVERYTHING was perfect from the room to the location to the food to the friendly owners. We had no expectations when we arrived to Nafplio but Andrimeda was a wonderful new year surprise! We originally booked one night and stayed for four! We would have stayed longer but need to return to reality! If you plan to go to Nafplio then do yourself a favor and stay at Andromeda Pension!!

Staff were friendly and attentive, the room clean and comfortable. Stayed one night en route from Kalamata to Athens, and staff were very helpful in arranging onward transport.

We loved staying at the Andromeda Bed and Breakfast. There are only 5 rooms so the hosts were very open and welcoming.l. We were the first to check in so we got to choose our room. Rooms were huge with traditional furniture-some antiques (no Ikea furniture). Marina and Panayotis were helpful and friendly--giving directions, suggesting things to do, and chatting.

Great place to stay. Host and hostess were fantastic!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was very helpful and even prepared us a light breakfast for our early departure.

Without going into details, all of the positive reviews of Andromeda Pension that you can read are absolutely true. Great location, great service, friendly owners, excellent all-homemade buffet breakfast, great overall value for the price. Old town Nafplio is wonderful. For those of you in the USA, it is similar to a mini version of the French Quarter in New Orleans, but more refined. It is a beautiful place to walk around, dine and shop. There are many shops with locally handcrafted clothes, shoes, jewelry, etc. (somewhat pricey though). It is a short drive to a Venetian castle, Mycenea, Epidavros and nice clean beaches. Rent a car with GPS and you will have no real problems driving from Athens to here. One thing to remember when you come to Andromeda Pension- it is on a narrow pedestrian street and you cannot drive to the hotel entrance. You must park at the long parking lot at the port along the harbor. Parking is free and it is an easy 3 minute walk even with luggage. Also, the street sign says Ypsilandrou, not Ipsilandrou. If I had the chance to do my trip over, I would spend less time in Athens and more time here, it is just more peaceful and beautiful here.

This place is amazing! The owners are so helpful and kind, it really feels like a home away from home! The location is not only right next to everything in town but is only a short drive away from all the the archeological sites in the area. Fantastic. Don't miss the included breakfast (complete with homemade jams) its simple but tasty.

We arrived tired (red eye from Gatwick) but felt very welcome. I really liked the unpretentious and kind welcome, and the hotel is in a perfect place. The room was comfortable and simple. Parking is easy and safe at the port - 5 minutes away. The breakfast was really nice - all homemade bread and jams, plus honey, yoghourt, fruit. The stay was a nice introduction to Greek hospitality.
