Hotel Ambrosia

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the years. Haven’t been to Turkey since 2018, and I was blown away by how different the hotel is now. It was always a great hotel (the best in the town). However, now it is miles above what it was. The hotel really takes pride in ensuring that the guests are looked after to the best of their ability and that anything that could make your stay more comfortable, they will jump through hoops to make happen for you. Having read through some of the reviews before writing this one, I am absolutely mind blown of some of the negative reviews. It seems clear to me that the people leaving 1* reviews are just horrible people, every negative factor of the hotel I saw reviewed, turned out to be a whole load of nonsense.

We stayed at this hotel for a week at the end of September. We highly recommend you here for your next summer holiday. We came as a family of 5 (3 kids), the hotel supplied a cot for the baby upon check-in which is always good. The hotel facilities are fantastic, lots of fun activities around the hotel and the surrounding area. The pool is nice and big and theres a great kids pool too. hotel spa service is lovely and the restaurant was great.

Ma famille et moi avons séjourné dans cet hôtel pendant une semaine à la fin septembre. C'est une excellente période pour venir en Turquie si vous voulez éviter la chaleur intense de la haute saison, c'est aussi un peu moins cher qu'en juillet/août. L'hôtel est super, propre et bien entretenu ; il y a beaucoup de bonnes installations et commodités dans l'hôtel. Sauna et jacuzzis gratuits, et pour des frais supplémentaires, vous pouvez réserver un massage turc complet. Le restaurant est agréable avec de bons plats et boissons. Il y a de la musique live tous les soirs au restaurant, ce qui était fantastique. La piscine et la plage sont toutes deux grandes et spacieuses. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel.

Mein Partner und ich hatten einen fabelhaften Aufenthalt im Ambrosia, die Ausblicke sind wirklich unglaublich, perfekte Lage, es gibt eine angenehme leichte Brise vom Meer, die man braucht, wenn man am Strand sonnenbaden möchte, lol. Das Restaurant ist großartig, wir hätten dort problemlos jeden Abend essen können. Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen, nur 2 Minuten mit dem Auto vom Stadtzentrum entfernt und 15 Minuten Fahrt ins Zentrum von Bodrum oder zur Marina.

We visited the Ambrosia hotel for a few nights, wish we could have stayed longer but we were just passing through Bodrum. We are frequent travellers to the area, first time staying at this hotel and it has been an absolute delight. Remarkable location, right on the coast surrounded by mountains and you can see some greek islands way in the horizon, genuinely the nicest views I have ever seen from a hotel. The Ambrosia has lots of facilities for all your needs, great spa which offers curated spa packages for all types of travellers, good gym with plenty of equipment for a hotel too. The food/drink was nice and relatively well priced for the area. Rooms were nice and clean, housekeeping came regularly (as much as you want too). And all staff are very friendly. Also most nights there is live music at the dinner service.

Not. A. Thing.

Just spent a week at this amazing hotel in Bodrum and didn’t want to leave! The location is perfect, right on the coast with a big private beach and a large pool, so there are always plenty of sunbeds. The food was fantastic, and the staff were super friendly. The kids loved the play park, and the spa is a must-visit. There’s lots to do in the area too. We had an incredible stay and can’t wait to return!

The hotel rooms were immaculate, with daily changes of bedding and towels. Our check-in went smoothly, and the bellhops assisted us in carrying our bags to our room. When we arrived, we were given a map and some basic hotel information. There was still lots of sunbeds at the pool, even though we arrived late and the beach was the same, so no need to get up early for sunbeds. Throughout our entire time, the food was great, no fault. The room also had a safety deposit box thankfully. Would 100% recommend, We had an amazing visit!

WOW. L'ambiance dans cet hôtel est unique en son genre. Tout le monde est si amical et l'atmosphère est vraiment agréable. Pendant notre séjour, il y avait un grand match de football turc et l'hôtel a organisé une soirée pour le regarder. Il devait y avoir 200 ou 300 personnes qui le regardaient sur un grand écran LED. C'était génial. À part ça, l'hôtel lui-même est magnifique, c'est l'un des bâtiments les plus impressionnants que j'ai jamais vus. La plage et la piscine sont immenses, donc il y a toujours beaucoup de place, peu importe l'heure de la journée.

We had a flawless time at the Ambrosia. Genuinely could pick apart anything about our stay if we had to. great sense of family with the staff, from reception to the restaurant staff they are all brilliant and so so friendly. the housekeeping ladies are all so nice, great at their job too. the chefs are all great, didn’t have a bad experience in the restaurant all week. The hotel has a partnership deal with local nightclubs from the town over. My son and his girlfriend went a couple of nights and said it was like no other nightlife they have been to. they went to a couple of nightclubs that the hotel set up transport to and from the clubs. they were also able to skip the entire line and walk in like royalty lol. Very unique service. My daughter and myself got a full turkish Hamam treatment (turkish spa) at the hotel. the spa facilitea at the hotel are amazing, you HAVE to have one when you come.
