Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieterin. Bekamen ein Upgrade bei der Ankunft. Super Aussicht. Sehr flexibel; wir haben das Frühstück auf unserem Balkon serviert bekommen.

Alle Möbel schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Duschkabine war etwas wackelig. Frühstücksraum sehr dunkel und ungemütlich.

Donna Fausta's place was easily one of our favourite places on a month long trip in southern Italy. As we arrived we were greeted by some beautiful cats - a great start! An immediate bonus is the plentiful parking out front of the building, and a friendly welcome from Fausta. The building is at the end of a dead end road so very quiet. The real magic was the room. Wow. We booked the double room with terrace and sea views, and the terrace looks out over the sea high above the Amalfi Coast, it was breath-taking. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Maria Grazia provided delicious breakfast every morning (it was mostly the same things but we didn't mind - all delicious!) and she too was a lovely person who couldn't do enough for us. Fausta told us how to get to Amalfi by bus (walk the 5-8 mins to town and then get tickets from the cafe) and then the bus took around 45 minutes to get down the mountain. She also recommended some local places to eat, and we loved the Garden Pizza place and ate there twice. She always asked us how we were and if she could help with anything. Just such super friendly people. We would love to return some day, grazie Fausta and Maria Grazia!

The only slight down side was the wifi, it stopped working the morning after our arrival and never got going again (we did 3 nights). We are remote workers, but took it as a sign to stop work and enjoy this beautiful place - which is what you should do too! :)

We had a wonderful stay with Donna Fausta. Although the room was small, the view from the balcony was spectacular with a great vista of the coastline, 600m below, in both directions. Fausta and Maria went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and helped with getting the most out of the local village. Bomerano is a typical Italian village with narrow streets and an afternoon siesta where the shops shut. There are plenty of restaurants and pizza eateries.

Public transport to Amalfi and Castellammere was close by but crowded and infrequent.

Our stay at the Villa Donna Fausta was WONDERFUL!!! It was the perfect honeymoon location and we would stay there a thousand times over! Located in a beautiful small town with plenty of great restaurants and cafes. Just a bus ride away from the Amalfi Coast and a dozen other beautiful towns full of breath-taking views (Seriously, everywhere you look is like a painting in an art gallery). Donna Fausta is an exceptional host with years of experience. She and her staff exemplify hospitality. They (along with everyone else we met in town) were beyond helpful and acommodating. From helping us with rides, to navigating the town, gifting us bus tickets, to exchanging our dollars for euros when we were in a pinch- we are extremely grateful. We looked forward to eating breakfast and talking with sweet Maria every morning.

Know what you're looking for: If you want a lavish resort with room service dining and a dozen on-site entertainment options, this cozy villa isn't the place for you. But if you want a relaxing and comfortable get-away in a small Italian town full of kind and hardworking people, and you don't mind taking a walk or a short bus ride down the serene mountain side of the Amalfi coast for shopping and sight-seeing, then look no further. There is no better place to enjoy the good life with a romantic partner or friend. NOTE: Learn the bus schedule as soon as possible and plan your itinerary accordingly, unless you're renting a car or don't mind shelling out for taxis. Highly recommend keeping a hundered or so euros handy when venturing out, just in case you need a taxi ride back. Taxi drivers will gladly give you their personal numbers for future rides. Train station can be reached by bus and used to get to places like Napoli, Rome, and Pompei. But navigating can be tricky so be prepared.
