Good location. Close to family.

The location is close to multiple places I wanted to go for the day! The facilities outside and inside were truly nice and the breakfast offered was good!!

The breakfast was edible with the normal breads, eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, apples and apple juice with kiwi strawberry water. We went to Martinsburg WVA to the diner to get a wholesome "hot" breakfast. Location was close to my goddaughter/nieces home but I would not recommend my Maryland family to stay there, just take the drive to and from unless they stay in Harpers Ferry, Martinsburg or Charlestown. Convenience doesn't always satisfy the need.

And you should ask. .Well, where do I start. If another hotel was closer to my goddaughter/nieces home I would have gone elsewhere, But being unfamiliar with the area decided to book reservations though Booking.com. The door was broken and a sign posted Swimming pool out of order. Please accept our apology for any inconvenience. I should have known better. Being unfamiliar we decided to check in. As you enter the facilities smelled extremely clean, but a camouflage. Our room on the 1st floor was partially clean with mold in the bathroom on the ceiling, dust in various areas of the room, paint peeling, a broken ironing board but a fantastic iron, dirty carpet which needed vacuuming and a good shampoo. The pictures were shared with management and when asked what can be done. My sister and I was advised she could do nothing but speak with the manager of the hotel when he called. I provided my email address to gain open communication. Later that evening I received an email stating I would be given a discount of 16.27 (10%) credit back on my card. When I checked out the very next day, I was advised I received a credit of $18.61 for my inconvenience. They even offered my sister a housekeeping job because they were hiring if she moved to WVA . Proper customer service would have offered a better room without people talking excessively and making loud noises over your head throughout the night. I believe they could have done more, however, lesson learned make severe demands for corrections or stay at a better location/hotel. Don't know if we will ever stay there again even though its 3 miles from my goddaughters home. Think twice......

No elevator. Pool was not open.

I didn’t like that I picked a hotel that advertised it had a pool that conveniently was closed for repairs. Breakfast was very limited and the people that hung around the hotel were a bit scary
