Miniloc Island Resort

Although the AirSwift plane was 1 hour late arriving at 4:30 pm, the transfer was still taken care of by Ruel. It felt like a James Bond movie: from the plane into the van driving onto the jetty directly to the speed boat that took us to the island in only 20 min … just in time before night fall, which is when the coast guard wouldn’t allow any boat ride anymore. The full board catering was fantastic, both in terms of Filipino and Western food. The waiters and cooks were fabulous living up to the wonderful Filipino philosophy of bayanihan … doing everything to make you happy, not because they’re staff, but because one genuinely feels that they are happy if the guest is happy. There was not one angry soul in this place!! As a lover of Filipino food, I didn’t need to request the food I like … they read it in my eyes (pinakbet, kamote cue etc). The following stood out in particular: Vergel, Ricky, Chai, Jess, Alfonso, Fhee, John, Vern. As to the complimentary activities: We were overwhelmed with what was already included in the package. Two guides stood out: Reylan and Marlon bent over backwards for me to get the best snorkeling experience and gently took care of my Asawa, Edna, who - thanks to them - is no longer afraid of the water and the ocean. In summary: job well done from the cleaners to the waiters/cooks to the tour guides to the receptionists (Kath & Kath and Jess) and lastly the wonderful manager Francis.

Loved the food options, they really tried to provide options for the vegetarians and those with gluten allergies in our large group of 17. They also saved a table for 17 throughout our entire stay so we could sit together, and came out to sing happy birthday for my son's 12th birthday dinner! The gym was excellent but didn't have too much space for more than one person to do yoga. The travel guides Gee & Mario were excellent and highly recommended for all your kayaking and aquatic adventures! I also highly recommend Rezzie for strong massages!

The game room was a little small - only had one mahjong table, would be nice to have another table for cars or board games. My bathroom smelled but they attempted to rectify the problem by providing an air freshener.

Incrível, um dos melhores hotéis que já ficamos. Lugar paradisíaco, atendimento excepcional, comida é ótima. A única parte ruim foi ir embora.

Ein wirlich traumhaftes Inselresort, mit äußerst freundlichem und höflichem Personal, sehr schönen täglichen Ausflügen zur Big Lagoon (gleich um die Ecker), zur Small Laggon, zur Secret Lagoon (beide auch auf Miniloc Island), Schnorcheln vor Shimizu Island und Baden am Traumstrand von Entalula Island. All diese Ausflüge sind im Zimmerpreis inklusive. Das Resort verleiht auch gratis Kajaks und Schnorchelausrüstung. Im Hausriff vor dem Resort haben wir beim Schnorcheln eine Schildkröte und eine Seeanemone mit darin lebenden Clownfischen gefunden. Wenn man Glück hat sieht man im Resort auch eine Makakenbande und einen Varan. 5 Tage im Paradies.

A wonderful stay with the family. Perfect snorkelling, kayaking & swimming. Excellent excursions. The staff were all really helpful but a special thank you for Jess, Andy & Ruel. Thank you all
