Miniloc Island Resort

Everything was wonderful

Paradise found, book today. We stayed at El Nido Miniloc Resort during Christmas 2023 for 4 nights. What an amazing memory. We truly LOVED our trip. We are a family of four: mom, dad and two teenage girls (17 & 15). We were picked up at the El Nido airport by the hotel team in a luxury van. They handled all of our luggages and delivered them to our room flawlessly. After a short ride to the pier and getting refreshing drinks and snacks at the lounge, you get on a boat for a 45-minute boat ride with incredible views of so many beautiful islands. The resort itself is DATED and is in need of a complete remodel but what makes this into a paradise is the ENTIRE STAFF, the location itself and the all the attractions around the islands. We did ALL the excursions including kayaking at the Big Lagoon at sunrise, small lagoon, snorkeling, and a full private day boat excursion to see pristine untouched beaches with an incredible lunch, made just for our family. Amongst ALL of the staff (and I really mean ALL were wonderful), the one who truly made our holiday from great to OUTSTANDING was Mr. Benji. WOW! This guy is all about taking care of his guests. We requested BENJI since the day he picked us at the airport. He took us to the sunrise tours, snorkeling, remote place, full day excursion with lunch at a secluded beach and he showed us so many things that we could have never seen just by ourselves, and he knew all the amazing locations for taking that special photo. He also takes care of everyone to make sure they are safe whether snorkeling/swimming or walking on rocks. He even paid the coconut guys at the beach since I forgot my money at the room (of course we reimbursed him later). He is actually quite an amazing photographer, and he took so many photos of our family that deserves a photographic award. We requested him to take us back to the airport and he changed his schedule so he could be with our family. THANK YOU VERY MUCH BENJI.

Resort is dated and needs a remodel.

I cant say enough. the staff, the location is amazing. you have the island for yourself. the coral at the resort is pristine and safe to snorkel. you can also kayak to big and small lagoon. I highly recommend

This place gives you an awesome experience, the location could not be any better, you are just next to the top attractions of el nido, but at the same time, you are on a very private place. The hotel includes complementary tours that cover most of what you would do on El Nido, and they are very easy to be arranged and mixed with the other plans you might have. The hotel is very well maintained, clean, the stuff is very friendly. The buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner is very good, you get different type of foods every day, if you like seafood there will always be a lot of it fresh seafood too. The drinks are very good, and reasonable price. The snorkeling is a great experience, the snorkel kit they provide is good and you can spend many hours swimming around the hotel and finding great and unique fishes. It was a bit hard to plan my arrival, I suggest you contact the hotel at least 2-3 days before you arrive so they can pick you up, for the check out I was allowed to stay a bit more around the hotel and have lunch before going to the airport, unfortunately we had some problems with our flight but the hotel called me to help me and they were very helpful on that. Overall, a great experience for our honeymoon.

Truly one of the best places you can stay in the world. Could not have asked for more.

The one weakness is the drinks on property could have been better, fortunately they are not overpriced. Also, labeling common allergens on the food would be very welcome and avoid asking the staff repeatablely (who are very helpful)

Excellent, highly recommended!!!

First rate food, service, view, activities. Would go back tomorrow.
