Pub was lovely, people were friendly and owners were very hospitable, evening dinner was amazing and breakfast was good, if I had to find fault then the room was small and quite cold but that did not detract from a lovely evening and certainly we would stay again - great place near the edge of the moors

Lovely traditional village pub with stunning views across the Devon countryside. Very welcoming staff who couldn't do enough for us. Breakfasts were amazing - all local produce and you could tell the difference! We were encouraged to join in the quiz night - and came second.
Beautiful setting in a very small village 3 miles away from Buckfastleigh. Very comfortable room with a view over the vale. Very friendly family run establishment ideal for walking or driving.
