A truly beautiful place. The location is peaceful, the welcome is warm and friendly, and the service is excellent. We are regular visitors to the area and usually come two or three times a year. On every previous visit, the weather has been wonderful. This was the first time we were surprised by such changeable weather, and we ended up spending most of our holiday in the room. However, thanks to the comfort and warmth of the place, we hardly noticed the bad weather. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. We will most certainly be back again soon.

The breakfast was lovely. The location was good we could walk into windermere where there were lots of shops bars and restaurants. On the day of check out we were allowed to leave out car on there car park which allowed us to go on a boat trip around windermere lake. We would stay there again.

The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the local area. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep, and the breakfast was lovely, with a good selection of delicious options each morning.

The only minor issue during our stay was that the TV signal was not always very good, which occasionally affected the picture quality. Aside from this, we were very happy with the property and our overall experience.

The Westbourne was a great B&B to stay in at Boweness-on-Windmere. It was a fabulous location, only short walk to the lake. The owners were lovely and the breakfast on offer was great. Room and facilities were comfortable and clean. All in all, I highly recommend if you're staying in Boweness.
