Royal Inn

In 1965, i remember the Conner Motel building. I was drawn to the large trees in front of the rooms. I have walked the sidewalk in front of this hotel/motel since i was a child. Recently had reason to stay in Albany overnight, and for nostalgic reasons, stayed at the renamed; Royal inn....same building, no trees. A bit outdated, but eh. You gotta sleep somewhere. 😏

Everything was old, but clean.

beds are very comfortable. always sleep good when we stay here

Mold in the bathroom Holes in the walls TV did not work

The gentleman in the office hands down the biggest draw of the place… super nice and accommodating.

The non smoking room, although looked clean, smelled like old musty smoke with burns in the rug. Looking out window was view of a small building and a large pile of junk.
