Panorama Hotel

Receptionisten talade inte engelska. Det är en stor nackdel. Hon kunde inte finna min bokning i hotellets dator. Detta var svårt att reda ut pga språkbarriären.

Väldigt bra personal, hjälper en med allt man behöver.

UPSIDE: location was good right off the main street staff was very friendly &helpfull the food for lunch &dinner was great, room was clean DOWNSIDE: breakfast starts at 8 you need to be there at 8 if you like hot food. they dont tell you that you are charged room service fees even when you eat in dinner hall or bar. the beds are much smaller then the look in pictures with the mattress you may be 2-21/2 feet max off ground the mattress are old kids bunk bed style ( little to no coushin) the shower is SUPER LITTLE (speaking for the twin rooms) there is a lot of noise right now from construction but only during the day(untill bout 7 pm). the internet worked decent the first 2 days barley the 3rd day &not at all the last 2 days, (we was told it had to be our cpus :-/). I was told i had a balcony, WRONG only sliding door with a rail nothing to step out on. i went with a friend, male on last day we was told we should have never been aloud to check in together &they wanted us to buy another room. they do not allow 2 men in the same room even if it does have 2 beds. there is no central heat and air in each room there is only a "hotel control" i sware it seemed like whenever whoever had control over got hot or cold the whole hotel paid for it. the final straw was when we had friends that was staying in another hotel come to visit we was told that we need to pay per visitor to enter the room since i reserved the room for 2 people only 2 people can be in the room at any given time.

Good value for the money. Location is convenient to the airport.

I would never stay at this hotel again. I gave it a shot on two occasions, because the Jupiter was booked, but they are unbelievably inept, rude, and unhelpful.

Clean and good wifi. Great view !!! Good value. Recommended Some small details : the hot water boiler didn't have the capacity to fill the tub, the tv image was full of noise. It's not located the closest to the action, but that wasn't a real issue (a cab ride of 150 birr and you're in the middle of it). Breakfast was good, but could be improved somewhat (I like my coffee hot :-) )

this was one of the nicest rooms I stayed in in Ethiopia . Very large room clean no insects with helpful staff and free internet . The room was older in design and charming with big flat screen TV . Excellent House keeping staff. The location is safe but well outside main tourist area about a $7 cab ride away. Good place to stay if going to airport as it is close to ring road a major highway to airport .

The Tariff is high compared to similar level hotels. The Breakfast is quite good. The staff are courteous and helpful. I recommend this hotel for business travelers as it is more closer to the business district. Hotel Pick - Up is one of the finest points in a country like Ethiopia when you have exhorbitant taxi rates for lousy cabs. I strongly recommend this hotel for business executives.

The service is really poor. The internet in the room keeps cutting. They say we send someone to fix never came. The door does not open, we send someone to fix does not come till you shout at them.
