When we arrived at the hotel, we were blown away. Our room was super spacious and decorated like a swanky New York flat. With bright and modern decorations, we were tempted to have a stay-cation inside! The location was in the heart of the historic district, close to many wonderful restaurants and shops. Besides the size of the room, the ambiance, and the location, the owners' hospitality was beyond superb. Allow me to share with you an example of their grade A hospitality: the morning before we were flying to the mainland for the next leg of our journey on RyanAir, we needed to print out our ticket to avoid a 120 euro penalty (ugh, RyanAir). When the sweet husband of the hotel found this out, he called a local shop owner, had us email our tickets to him, who emailed them to his friend to print them up for us, ran to the shop to grab them, and them ran the print outs back up to us. Now that's impressive! So, if you want to stay at the best small boutique hotel on Cagliari, then I 110% recommend Casa Marina! ~the walkers (South Carolina, US)

We been suprise to see that we are not talking about hotel. that is an 2 bedrooms apt. and you are sharing the bathroom with completly strangers. if we knew that fact we would not stay in this place . even the guy whom runs it are nice . and the location is in the middle of the old town

Room was large and clean . Kitchen and Bathroom were both clean and tidy . Alberto (owner) very friendly and helpful . Price great value No negative points to make for this B&B, it is basic, but does basic very well.

We've stayed in Casa Marina for 3 nights. In the beginning it was a bit difficult to find the apartment (because there's no sign or name of it) but it is really close to the train/ bus station and about a 15 minute walk up the hill to the ancient Cagliari. In the close area you will find a few restaurants and bars. The rooms are very cosy, big and clean. The owner Alberto provides for free: towels, linen, WIFI and some chocolate croissants for breakfast. He's very welcoming and always open for a friendly chat (and some good advices). If you are 2 people you will have to share the (big) bathroom and the kitchen with 2 other guests (the flat has two big rooms). Dishes and a fridge are provided. We can really recommend La Casa Marina if you don't expect hotel flair but a very openminded apartment style (nonetheless Alberto will clean all the used dishes. So you don't have to worry about it in your holidays ;) ) We wish Alberto all the best with La Casa Marina. Sorry for the delayed entry. Excellent location, nice guy runs it, very clean and Wifi works well. Excellent value. 2 things that might cause some bookers a problem, it,s not a hotel, it,s a 2 bedroom apartment. The bathroom is shared with the other room in the apartment, but there is a shared kitchen, very clean and breakfast stocked. Overall very good if you dont mind sharing.
