Everything was really good, room was really clean, really quiet, the hotel is really pretty the staff it’s really nice I stayed with my 3 kids and I don’t have any complaints we had a really nice weekend

This location is SCAM. We had a group of 10 engineers surveying sites in El paso for a global company and we contacted the hotel for a week’s stay in June. We were referred to a Renee and she offered a “great deal”. I asked her to call me in the morning so I can coordinate with my team. She didn’t call back, and some Luz girl called 4 days later saying that the deal was only for groups of 12 or more. Then she quoted me a price with a “new” deal it was the same as Renee’s days before. Both sounded extremely unprofessional, especially Renee. AVOID HER. She is RUDE, like you have no other hotel choice. We only took the “deal” as we had already coordinated, and members were already flying in. SCAM 1. We checked in and it seems sales (Renee or Luz) have nothing to do with you once you’ve been hooked. They left this to be handled by the front desk, whom should have no access to our contract, or payment details, they should just check us in. Sales was to handle all the “great deals” and have me in the system ready to check in. Just as in any legit hotel. SCAM 2. The hotel is so outdated we considered cancelling and going next door. The elevators do not work most times, the carpeting is torn and rolled everywhere (trip hazard), the “meals” are a health hazard, food is cold, sometimes still frozen in the middle. Shortage on towels, sheets and pillows, you’re lucky if you have 2. The air did not work in 3 of our rooms. To top it off one of our rooms had feces on the walls and on the side of the bed sheet. SCAM 3. They do have a “social hour”, and they offer cheap wine; keep in mind any one you invite for a meeting at the hotel, its $30 for them. The pool is closed because they do not have a license to operate. SCAM 4. Upon checkout I spoke to the CEO Anita. She showed no concern, told me my card had been charged and if we had any complaints to go to the IHG website, then told me I could leave the premises. We have stayed at several Hotels including other Staybridge, but this hotel is plagued with just plain bad management and unprofessional staff. The only respectful, employee was Chris at the front desk, he was so bubbly and went above and beyond to ease our stay. AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COST.

Terrible staff that were not helpful and didn't even try to accommodate a small request. Pool was broken and that was not disclosed before the stay. High traffic area. Apartment sized refrigerator and freezer, not full sized. Would not recommend.
