Best Western Plover-Stevens Point Hotel & Conference Center

The staff were very accommodating when my husband and I decided to get married with a small group of loved ones. The staff provided us access to a larger space so we could continue hanging out without fear of disrupting other guests past quiet hours! Overall a great place to stay when we celebrated getting married! All the rooms we stayed in were very clean and cozy!

Location of the hotel seemed to be in the middle of nowhere - not necessarily a bad thing, but required more travel to get to restaurants, shopping, etc. It was also a little worrisome that the keylock entries were not actually locked for the entrances of the hotel. That paired with being in the middle of nowhere felt a little freaky. My husband also mentioned the workout area was pretty outdated and running on the treadmill felt a little dangerous.

Our room was nice. Clean & comfortable. King bed was comfortable, the pillows were comfortable. Pool & hot tub temperature was great. Nice & warm. The downside of it, there were was an ant problem in the pool area. The included breakfast was a disappointment. Few options, and the options available were not that great. We wound up going to a fast food breakfast for breakfast.

The manager was very helpful and welcoming. Very clean property. The only thing missing were vending machines that sell sodas, chips etc….but there is an ice machine. There is a Kwik trip across the street for snacks which is great! 😊

This is the second time we have been to this location. The staff has been pleasent. The rooms are well maintained and the continental breakfast seems to be enjoyed by all. Great value!

The biggest thing we had a problem with was the breakfast. We sat and waited for about 10 minutes for eggs and sausage. The sausage was dried out cardboard, and the eggs were crunchy. Only about 2 cups of eggs were made at one time and the bowl she used to make them was reused over and over and wasn’t cleaned. The pancake machine didn’t work and we had to ask to refill the other breakfast items. The pool opened at 8 o’clock and was not unlocked until asked at 8:35, A bike lock was used to lack the pool area?! Walls were quite thin, and the floor was very creaky. Overall, cleanliness was decent. Pool and hot tub was also decent.

Travel with kids and loved this place. Great outdoor space for playing and across the street from Kwik trip!

Breakfast was a little sparce, but otherwise it was a good stay.
