Honlux Apartment

Great Hotel but like a lot of places has a very slight unpleasant odour at times. The Hotel is right next to Sea World Metro station that connects you to the city and the surroundings have a lot to offer in terms of what to do after work hours. Overall the staff are great, they speak English, the rooms are cleaned daily and there's no noise in the mornings or at night. Finally, although not advertised, the hotels Wi-Fi, although generally slow, is a VPN connection, meaning you can access sites otherwise blocked inside China.

The room was cozy and comfortable. The environment around the hotel was nice, too. Neat and clean. Located near subway station, and ferry terminal where you can trip directly to Hong Kong airport. If your goal is not on experiencing traditional Chinese street, it would be the best pick.

I stayed in this hotel for 7 days and my stay was very good. However the rooms do not have the microwave and hence becomes very difficult for vegetarian like me. However the hotel people allowed me to use the restaurant for heating my food packets, very nice of them! The rooms were very good and clean. However the carpets were not up to the mark and one does not feel that they are very clean.

It's a nice hotel surrended by restaurants international and locals. It's a few yards from the train station. It's a very nice location for transportation, to eat and have fun

Honlux is excellently situated. Five minutes from Shekou Ferry Port and in the middle of the 'Sea world' area. There are scores of restaurants and bars with a choice of food to suit everyone. The hotel itself is very good, very friendly staff who are extremely helpful in making sure you can get around by taxi etc. Rooms are clean and well equipped, free wi-fi is available (not the speediest but not too bad). In my opinion at least its a very good choice of hotel for business or leisure

The Honlux Apartments were a pleasant surprise. I didn't expect the quality of the rooms to be as good as it was. They are located very conveniently adjacent to Sea Worlds Main square and the MTR Station. There is a great choice of places to eat and drink within a couple of minutes walking distance. The outside of the building looks a little old and scratty, but once inside my impressions changed significantly. I had a warm welcome from the receptionist in a very bright and well appointed reception area. I was quickly in my room which was very comfortable and well appointed. The bathroom was small, but adequate with the shower being over the bathtub and quite high to step into. For the price paid I was very happy with the Honlux Apartments and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Was in Shenzhen for business, and wanted to stay in Shekou for the weekend. The Honlux was very convenient, since it is right at the Seaworld subway stop. Hotel was spotless, and the staff very helpful and skilled in English. Internet service was good. The crowd is a little noisy in the evening, but everything shuts down at 11pm, so it is not a problem. I will certainly stay there again.
