Hotel Il Nido

La struttura si trova nei pressi del borgo di Tellaro, che può essere raggiunto a piedi con una breve passeggiata, e gode di una ampia vista panoramica sul Golfo dei poeti, molto suggestiva al tramonto. La piccola spiaggia privata si raggiunge attraverso una scalinata, attrezzata con sdraio, lettini ed ombrelloni. La struttura è costituita da due edifici, uno dei quali si trova dislocato a breve distanza dal nucleo principale e si raggiunge attraversando la strada. Le stanze di questo edificio sono nuove e la pulizia è stata sempre impeccabile. Il parcheggio è ampio e recintato.

Gli spazi esterni necessitano di manutenzione e pulizia più frequenti e purtroppo, durante il periodo in cui abbiamo soggiornato, nella zona della spiaggia era persistente un fastidioso odore di fognatura.

Colazione eccezionale.

La struttura è molto bella e colorata, con accesso diretto alla spiaggia tramite scale interne. Il panorama dalla sala colazioni è spettacolare su tutta la baia di Tellaro. La colazione è abbondante e di qualità sia dolce che salata. La mia stanza aveva un terrazzo con una sdraio e un tavolino.

Good location, great breakfast, amazing views over the sea. The beach bar was right by the little beach with access just for hotel guests. The water was so warm even for the end of September.

proximity to Cinque Terre

Unfortunately our worst experience in Italy so far. Booked an apartment with Seaview for 3 nights in october. after arriving we challenged the seaview (less than 20% were seaview) and kindly asked for a Downgrade to a simple double bedroom (which were available and had better views) while offering to still pay the premium for an apartment. This request was denied by Mgmt just arguing desperately that the seaview is there. At the end we left the place after our first night (paid for 3 nights still). we rather spend our precious time in locations that take customers and customer satisfaction seriously. This Hotel seems unfortunately not interested in such profane topics. At the end they showed zero flexibility and according to the staffs reaction, i assume we were not the first ones complaining about the missing seaview from the apartments. So watch out when booking. From my perspective this is kind of a fraud and highly NOT recommendable
