JUFA Hotel Maria Lankowitz am See

The surrounding area is nice, calm, good freash air! Nice place to relax! The breakfast was good (bread several types, cold vegetables, hot vegetable ragu and cold cuts, fried bacon, sausage, marmelade, scrambled egg, pancake, coffe, tea, orange juice etc) . The playground for children, the big terrace, view, the beach was wonderfull! Worth to rent e-bike (Therme Nova hotel) and cycle around! And there are also some turist trails, and the little town Maria Lankowitz with Maria churche. (But not worth to walk around the lake).

Breakfast meal were quite repetitive (every morning exactly the same). Some variation would be nice ! Evening meal: good but could be improved a little bit! One evening we had nice diner (two types of meat, rice, poteto, vegetable, salade, dessert, but the following day there were less good meal. Last year we were in an other JUFA hotel, and the meal were better, more variety. (I would suggest to use some parfume to wash the towels, bc they have strange smell (vineger-desinfection?), however they were absolutely clean.)

Die Ausstattung und der Komfort des Zimmers waren während unseres Aufenthalts leider unzureichend. Bei Außentemperaturen von rund 30 Grad hat sich das Zimmer stark aufgeheizt. Zusätzlich lag unser Zimmer offenbar direkt neben dem Abluftraum der Küche, zumindest deuteten der Frittiergeruch und die Geräuschkulisse darauf hin. Das hat nicht nur die Luftqualität im Zimmer beeinträchtigt, sondern auch die Hitzeentwicklung verstärkt und den Aufenthalt erheblich gestört. Zu mindestens ein Ventilator im Zimmer wäre schön gewesen.

Great hotel. We traveled during a major heat wave in Europe. There is no AC in the rooms, but it cooled off at night enough for sound sleep.

Very relaxing property that leaves you wishing you could stay longer. Beautiful setting Rooms are adequate and very comfortable

Lovely hotel that had a wonderful playground for kids and lots of toys for them to play with. Could walk to a restaurant nearby. We were only there for one night. Beds were comfortable; bathroom had a great shower. Breakfast had lots of choices. We wanted to go see the Lipizzaner horses in Piber and this was a convenient location to stay at.
